Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit...

Hi folks...I'm back to share some of the cards I've been making with the Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit which has sold out but most of the products are available to buy individually and I have linked them below.
The kit contained this gorgeous Oval of Flowers stencil and 3 mini pots of Nuvo Embellishment Mousse which has the most glorious metallic shimmery sheen. I applied Peony Pink through the stencil and around the edges of the card using the Ranger Blending Foam also provided in the kit.
I stamped the bunny and eggs from the "Some Bunny" Stamp Set on to Ranger Watercolor card using Black Archival...water-coloured the body section of the bunny with Hickory Distress Marker and Ranger's Detailer Waterbrush and the eggs...bunny ears and feet with the mousse. I die-cut "Happy" 3 times to create dimension and stamped "Easter" on to the Slate card from the kit with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Ranger Superfine Detail White embossing powder...
Still in Nuvo Embellishment Mousse mode...I covered the entire card with Pure Platinum again using the Ranger Blending Foam and once dry...I applied Peony Pink through the Oval of Flowers stencil using the palette knife from the kit. I coloured the bunny in the same way as before using the Gathered Twigs Distress Marker...stamped the sentiment and hearts with Black Archival and coloured with the Pink Peony Mousse.
And I couldn't resist a little Distress Oxide playtime so I smooshed the ink on to my non stick craft mat...laid the card down to pick up the ink....spritzed...dried and repeated until I was happy with the backround. I die cut one of Tim Holtz/Sizzix Stitched ovals and used the direct to paper technique until I was happy with the coverage...die cut Simon Says Stamp Stacked Hearts from white card...added a small section along with some hearts and sequins. I stamped the bunny on to white card using Black Archival and coloured as before with the Pink Peony Mousse. I stamped the sentiment on the Slate Card and heat embossed with Ranger's Superfine White and stamped the other sentiment with Black Archival.
And guess what...I'm skiving off AGAIN today to meet up with a very special OLD "as in how long we've known each other/not age-wise" FRIEND who is visiting my neck of the woods for a few days and I'm looking forward to coffee lunch and lots of chit chat. Have a great weekend everyone and I'll see you on Monday with my DTproject for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge...you still have loads of time to join in this week's challenge with the chance to win a $50 shopping spree over at the Simon Says Stamp online store.
Toodle-oo for now
